Fundraiser

The Purple Ray Youth Skilling and Innovation Center for Rukunjiri, Western Region, Uganda is a project to provide resource to the youth of the broad regional community, to engage critically and meaningfully to be more empowered civic leaders and participants now and for the future of a collective *huemanity!

The goal of $1,000 (USD) with this fundraiser is encapsulating ‘Project Phase 1’ for rent maintenance for the current workshopping building of The Purple Ray, and for two sewing machines essential for youth to maintain and develop their current program into the envisioned and more ideal Youth Skilling and Innovation Center.

The itemized budget of this Project Phase 1 is $83 for each sewing machine and $804 for rent arrears for the current workshopping building of The Purple Ray. One month rent at the current workshop is converted from Ugandan shillings (UGX) to $115, while The Purple Ray Youth Skilling and Innovation Center project to complete subsequent to phases of development starting from now is an envisioned rent-free office and workshop for the organization and operations!

Some About of ‘Obsolete Project’ (Fundraising Organization):

As above, this fundraiser is encapsulating ‘Project Phase 1’… Projects navigated with Obsolete Project (OP) commonly operate in phases of development, such as phases of startup and operating, while respectively each phase such as of start up and operating may have their own development phases particularly based on ability to do, such as two sewing machines now and some gardening tools later…

At Obsolete Project, “we work to make our work obsolete, and we love it!” meaningfully, we show up organizationally and unfaltering deterministically to realize the vision and goals of project creations that create healthy overall-wellbeing outcomes, so opportunity is realized and justifiably, self-actualization is a possible ends to such project means for participating beneficiaries.

Turning dollars into sensibility, sensibly, it is perceived, otherwise felt that:

1. Socio-enviro-technical knowledge and skill capacity building through empowerment opportunities for youth is a critical causal factor for ability to be a valuable civic participant, so recycling dollars for this ability makes sense - to achieve and experience more healthy overall-wellbeing, in a collective sense.

Nonetheless,

2. Doing more autonomously and innovatively with what ideas are innately alighted inspirationally from within individuals for without solutions to solve unique socio-environmental problems makes sense for uptake and sustainability of socio-environmental solutions in inherently diverse and unique environments for healthy overall-wellbeing.

Let’s get together and make this happen! Final narratives are derivates to appreciate and share!

Support Youth Innovation Center, a project in Rukungiri District of southwestern Uganda. “In Uganda, the youth account for the largest share of Uganda’s population, with 77% of the citizens aged below 25 years of age, with a vast majority of them unemployed. Both global and national reports show that the main cause of unemployment and underemployment among the youth is the chronic lack of hands on and innovative skills to creatively and innovatively utilize the resources around them to create practical solutions for their most pressing unemployment challenge. Therefore, our Youth skilling Program prioritizes skills that drive co-creation of innovative and appropriate low cost entrepreneurial solutions to solve the unemployment and poverty challenges common among young people in Uganda. … The youth acquire self-employment skills through guided entrepreneurship and small business management trainings, hands on innovative ICT, Film and ART, Fashion, design and multimedia trainings, metal work, woodwork and joinery, cookery and bakery practical training sessions.”
